Dr. Eunice Ukwuani is a New York Peace Commissioner for the PeaceBuilding Commission. As a diplomatic liaison, she possesses years of experience working with senior leadership across organizations and top diplomats across Africa and within the United States. She is recognized as one of the founding members of Daylight Africa Week and serves as its Lead Coordinator for Nigeria and Director of Programs & Community Engagements. The Marketing Director/Public Relations of The Opializer Show. Her focus centers around advocacy on legislative priorities and other intergovernmental issues, and developing strong, effective relationships with both elected officials and community-based thought leaders on a wide range of topics.

She has worked with many Countries Diplomats/Ambassadors at their Consulate and missions to the United Nations especially the Consulate General of Nigeria New York. Her work has taken her to several mission houses in the USA and New Delhi in India with vast experience in Diplomacy and Globalization.

Due to her zeal to serve humanity, she has worked in so many Local and International Organisations with United Nations Consultative Status which includes; Lotus Initiative for the Blind (LIB), UCT International Cultural Development Inc, and Smarter Lives-Diligent Care for Creative Intelligence.

This zeal equally led to the establishment of the Princess Eunice Ukwuani Foundation (PEUF) where she currently serves as the President/Founder. This foundation caters to girl-child around the world, especially in Africa. She helped a lot of girls/women during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her foundation joined forces with her brother who is a Doctor at NYU Hospital to distribute PPE, masks, hand sanitizers to New Yorkers.

Throughout her public service journey, she has held numerous political leadership roles and actively participated in initiatives that promote civic engagement, political education, and community empowerment. As the President of the New York Political Coalition (NYPC), she has championed civic agendas centered on increasing political awareness, encouraging voter participation, and fostering grassroots involvement in governance. Her role at NYPC has allowed her to galvanize communities, especially marginalized groups, to become active participants in the democratic process.

She has also served as a Diplomatic Representative and Political Strategist for the Nigerian American Public Affairs Committee (NAPAC), New York chapter. In this capacity, she contributed to strategic advocacy efforts aimed at strengthening Nigerian-American political influence and representation. Her dedication to political advancement extends to her role as Director at the African Democratic Club Inc., where she has worked diligently to bridge African diaspora communities with broader political systems and opportunities.

Additionally, she is proud to be one of the leaders of the NYC African Council, an influential body that unites African voices across New York City to shape policy and promote collective progress. In 2021, she was part of the core A-team that contributed to the successful mayoral campaign of Eric Adams, further cementing her commitment to inclusive political representation and leadership in the city.

In recognition of her contributions to both politics and humanitarian service, she has been honored with several prestigious awards. She received a Proclamation Award from Senator Brian Benjamin, acknowledging her unwavering dedication to humanity. She was also awarded a Doctorate Degree by a United Nations consultative status organization, in recognition of her extensive humanitarian work across global communities.

Further validating her efforts, she received a recommendation letter jointly signed by His Excellency Tijjani Mohammed Bande, President of the 74th United Nations General Assembly and Nigerian Ambassador to the UN, and Dr. Chris Nwanoro, a distinguished diplomat. Their commendation reflects both national and international appreciation for her work. She was also honored with a recognition award by the Nigerian Consul General in New York, acknowledging her commitment to global humanitarian initiatives.

Among other notable honors, she was presented with the Community Warrior Award by the African Immigrants Commission of New York & Connecticut Inc., in partnership with Brown Eyez Magazine and the Holistic Harlem Health & Wellness Fair. This award celebrated her relentless advocacy and impactful service within African immigrant communities.
