Her leadership continues to shape the Chamber's strategic direction, purpose-driven projects, and global positioning.
Patience is a distinguished global leader, seasoned advocate for development, and a powerful voice for good governance, economic transformation, and diaspora inclusion. As the President and CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Chamber of Commerce (NiDCC), she brings decades of experience in diplomacy, strategic leadership, international business, and public service—making her a trusted partner on the world stage.
Patience has served in some of the most impactful roles across diaspora and national platforms. She was the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Organization, Americas USA (NIDOA USA), the President of the local chapter in the Marylans, USA, and later served as Executive Director of NIDOA USA. Her leadership in these roles helped reengineer diaspora diplomacy, unify strategic diaspora networks, and position Nigerian professionals abroad as co-creators of national development.
Her background includes senior-level engagement with NeGSt Nigeria Limited, where she served as Executive Director of Corporate Communication and Strategy. There, she worked closely with government institutions on the Nigeria e-Government project, positioning technology as a tool for service delivery and national reform.
Patience Ndidi Key is a respected entrepreneur, thought leader, and policy influencer, who has worked closely with key global institutions such as the U.S. State Department, USAID, the U.S. War College, as well as members of the U.S. Senate and Congress. Her extensive network across global political, economic, and development institutions underscores her unique ability to bridge local realities with international solutions.
In 2023, she made history by boldly entering the race for the Presidency of Nigeria, driven by a conviction to deliver visionary leadership and systemic reform. In 2024, she ran for Governor of Edo State, further cementing her lifelong commitment to advancing good governance, equity, and inclusive growth.
A humanitarian at heart, Patience has advocated for women's empowerment, youth development, transparent leadership, and diaspora engagement for over two decades. Her work spans continents—mobilizing global resources and influence to unlock opportunities in Africa and empower emerging markets.
Today, as the head of NiDCC, Patience Ndidi Key champions a global mission to bridge the economic gap between emerging and advanced markets. Under her leadership, NiDCC has become a nexus of innovation, investment, and policy dialogue—connecting entrepreneurs, professionals, governments, and multilateral organizations from Africa to the Americas, the Gulf to Europe.

Her professional journey spans healthcare, technology, project management, and strategic leadership. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Coppin State University, a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Regional Planning from Ambrose Alli University, and an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus. She is also a Certified Scrum Master, trained in Agile Project Management, Project Management, Leadership Fundamentals, Entrepreneurship, and Digital Entrepreneurship and more.
